How do three separate lavalier mics sound on YI 4kPlus Action Camera?

In this video I will show you how to connect an external mic to the YI 4k PLUS action camera. I will demonstrate three different styles of mics and include what the actual mic from the camera sounds like.

In order to use the external mic, you will need to have a specific cable that takes the stereo min jack to USB C connection for the camera. I also need to state that only the YI 4k Plus camera let's you add an external mic. Earlier versions do not.

You will go into the camera menu and tap on the cog wheel icon. From there scroll down to the EXTERNAL MIC ON-OFF and highlight it green to turn it on.

After that go back to the camera live view and notice that the mic icon of the camera has now switched to a different looking icon. I tried to show it here but I will probably added as a photo when I write my blog on this topic.

In the video I included examples of what it sounds like to hear the difference between all the different styles.

In this video demo, I am using the cable that came with the camera. However I have one that is similar and should work the same with the camera.
