It was supposed to record high-quality 720p videos however, the resulting image quality was not that great in my opinion.

Ok so here's my experience with the camera. I tried walking with it and the shake from the video was horrible and not usable. The video from it was ok but again if it's going to be used for biking or running I really don't think the footage would hold up.
Can you take photos with it, yes. Although the quality is lacking. If you are sharing it with friends on Social Media then ok, but its not something you want to brag about in terms of quality. Here are a few examples:

My suggestion is that the camera here can be an introductory camera for a child. Something that can be used and you will not feel bad losing money on.
