How to remove battery from Fujifilm Finepix Z1 and J10

In this video I will show a way to remove the battery from the FujiFilm Finepix Z1. This works for the J10 as well. Sometimes the spring that resides in the battery compartment may stop working and therefore the the battery becomes difficult to take out. I had a few of my viewers on Youtube ask me to demonstrate a way to get the battery free from its enclosure.

This method is probably one of several ways to work around this problem but there maybe more and probably easier methods. however this is what works fast and easy and so far I have had no issues. If you do try this I must say do it at your own risk because if you somehow manage to puncture the battery it could short the camera and battery may leak. So, please be very careful taking these steps.

You also have to keep in mind that if the battery has reached a point were it cannot be charged anymore then it could be better to replace it all together.

The Fujifilm Finepix J10 and Z1 is a point a shoot camera from 2008. Only 8.2mp, ISO is 64 to 1600, aperture is auto, f2.8, f5 and f5.2, the lens is Fujinon 18.6mm with 3x optical zoom and ok in low light. During daylight the camera performs really well. Sensor type is CCD. There is also video at 480 in 4:3 format only.

Some of my favorite Picture profiles exist within this camera and there is something very unique about the aesthetics of the jpeg or images that come out from these settings.
