The Pittsburg Paranormal Team recently visited Chicago and we had them investigate the Congress Plaza Hotel.
The two previous posts here were to showcase the cameras that were used during the trip. The Canon SD750 and come directly from the Android phone.
The photos here are from the Sony A6300 and I have used this camera for a variety of situations and scenes thru the years. This is the first time using it for ghost or paranormal investigation.
I will have several more from the locations we visited on future post. For now here are the ones from our room 817.
The thing that struck me about the room was the feeling of the old time, although there's a flat-screen tv and an alarm clock with a USB port the structure remains and the outside looks into the middle of the building. Not the most scenic view but it lets you get an idea of the Inner workings of the building.
The Pittsburg Paranormal Hunters stayed in room 847 and it made it so much easier for us to visit each other.
The initial investigation began roughly around 9pm. The first set of photos here are from that moment. Nothing appears in the photos, or at least not that I could tell from my initial view of them. I'm sharing them here so that you get a good look at what is being shown in the video later on.

The photo below was a bit rough to understand because I do not remember anything being at the bottom of the doorway. However, the white strap is most likely from Tracy (Pittsburg Paranormal Hunter's) as she had a white strap holding her camera or phone. I will check the video to make sure.

The closet had the majority of the activity in room 817
This one was on one of the floors. Probably an electrical panel.
A huge storm comes thru that evening. We were walking the hallways.
The bulk of our findings were audio. Particularly in room 817. Whispers into the mic and a clear EVP that said "Listen". I too caught some evp's and will be featured in the video was I am finished editing.
The next round of photos are from Mount Carmel Cemetery. The first set is from the Sony A6300.
The three photos below are from the incident involving a motion sensor device that was set on top of the tree stone. It was going off several times and appeared to be going off as Andy asked questions. I will also have a video about this soon.

The next set photos are from the Sony NEX3 and were taken by Andrea and a couple by me.
Only a few anomalies and I'll mention those as you read along this post.
The next thre photos are interesting. Andrea took these. There is a huge amount of light and it could be the sun but every time she pointed the camera in the other direction it would not produce the same effect. There are some headstones there but they are completely washed out be the light.
The next picture below has a strange anomaly. Do you see something in the center top of the stone?
The next photo below is by a small creek and there appears to be something floating above in the bushes. It looks like a blue light but it does not appear again when another photo was taken a few seconds later.
