I have provided three audio examples, the first test is the mic itself sound quality with speech. Second with the foam cover and third with the provided dead cat or wind muff for noise reduction. I did a test outdoors to see what the quality would be.

"The CVM-V02O features an omnidirectional pickup pattern that captures sound from every direction, allowing for a variety of placement options and freedom of movement—even when the subject turns away from the mic.
The manufacturer recommends not to record outdoors because this mic is an Omni Directional mic and picks up all around sound. However, you can judge for yourself and listen to the quality in this video.
This is an XLR mic made for professional cameras that have XLR input. On the Amazon page it gives you a list of compatible cameras to use this mic. The length of the cord is about five and a half feet.
The microphone is equipped with a 6' soft-silicone cable and is powered via 48V phantom power supplied from the camera—with no battery required.

I have used it for several different applications. The audio quality is fair and can be improved by doing some editing in audio programs such as Audio Director 7 or Audacity, but any other audio software would work too.
